Reasons To Add More Tofu Into Your Diet

Reasons To Add More Tofu Into Your Diet

Written by Jenny Rose Edwards

Tofu is made from curdling soya milk, pressing it into a block, then allowing it to cool. Despite it’s versatility, and wealth of health benefits, it’s a slightly controversial ingredient. You will find that some people swear by this plant-based protein-source, but others believe that it has adverse effects on human health. So far, there’s no concrete evidence that tofu is bad for us. Therefore, if you follow the rule of ‘all things in moderation’, tofu will be the perfect addition to your balanced diet.

Another reputation that tofu has is that it’s dull, and difficult to cook with. If you learn to properly utilise this magical ingredient, it has the power to level up any meal. We have added some of our favourite tofu recipes at the bottom of this article.
