Tofu is made from curdling soya milk, pressing it into a block, then allowing it to cool. Despite it’s versatility, and wealth of health benefits, it’s a slightly controversial ingredient. You will find that some people swear by this plant-based protein-source, but others believe that it has adverse effects on human health. So far, there’s no concrete evidence that tofu is bad for us. Therefore, if you follow the rule of ‘all things in moderation’, tofu will be the perfect addition to your balanced diet.
