Taco Bell Wants To Help You Eat Reducetarian
TACO BELL WANTS TO HELP YOU EAT REDUCETARIAN
Written by Danika Lam
That's right, you read that correctly. A mainstream fast food chain is looking to capture the vegetarian market and cater to reducetarians of all kinds!
Upon realizing that "the vegetarian market is a $2.8 billion-a-year industry," Taco Bell has amped up its efforts to get reducetarians in the door. To really tout their wares, they've published a blog post to demonstrate just how friendly their menu can be to those looking to eat less meat. The post lists 23 menu items that are meat free, 11 of which are certified vegetarian by the American Vegetarian Association (AVA). For the full list, check out their post.
From their spicy tostadas to their seven-layer burritos, you've got a whole array or reducetarian options to choose from when you need a meal in a pinch or when you're craving some good old beans and cheese. The veggie power bowl even looks like a real crowd pleaser!
So next time you're eating out, remember that there's always a way to reduce your meat consumption, even if it's not the most obvious option.
