Green Smoothie Bowl with Granola


Combine milk, applesauce, spinach, banana, matcha (if using), and oil in the jug of a blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until smooth.

Pour into a cereal bowl and top with granola.

Try adding instant oatmeal to the smoothie after pouring into the bowl.

Top with vegan yogurt, nuts, or dried fruit.

Makes 1 Serving, Easily Doubled


  • 3 tablespoons unflavored, unsweetened or vanilla nondairy milk

  • ¾ cup applesauce or crushed pineapple

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen baby spinach

  • 1 ripe banana, cut into 3 or 4 chunks

  • 1 teaspoon matcha (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon softened extra-virgin coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons granola
