Since 2012, under Midge’s leadership, Bedford 2030 (formerly Bedford 2020) has built a robust and trusted brand; engaged thousands of community members in Bedford, Westchester and beyond; and expanded its programs, participants and impact. In 2020 the organization announced a 44% reduction in community-wide greenhouse gas emissions, and last year relaunched as Bedford 2030: Climate Action Now with an aggressive new goal to reduce emissions 80% by 2030.
Ron Hernandez has 20+ years of experience overseeing program development, operational management, marketing, public relations, advertising, digital media and communications for both corporate and non-profit organizations. At The Monday Campaigns, he collaborates with public health experts at Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Syracuse universities and leads an in-house team of marketing and public health professionals to create programs and promotional campaigns that are used by organizations to improve health outcomes for their constituents and customers.
