CNN PUBLISHES THREE-WEEK REDUCETARIAN GUIDE

Written by Dalton Sweet

CNN is getting behind the reducetarian movement. They just published a three-week guide to reducing your meat consumption. In the first week, they suggest cutting meat portions in half and replacing them with plant-based proteins. In the second, they propose incorporating completely vegetarian meals into your diet. And in the third, they recommend preparing meals ahead of time and cultivating an increasingly meat-free routine.

Are plant-based proteins like lentils and quinoa completely foreign to you? That’s understandable. For the easiest and most familiar substitutes possible, check out meat-free brands like Gardein. Available at Target, Whole Foods, Wegmans, and many other grocery stores, their products include delicious mandarin chicken, beef grounds, and fish filets.

Reducetarianism is catching fire. With a major news outlet like CNN sharing its how-tos and advantages, you can be sure the world is transitioning away from meat. Join the movement, tell your friends, and enjoy all the benefits that come from reducing your meat consumption.
