Becky O’Brien is Hazon’s Director of Food & Climate. She has been with Hazon for more than 10 years and is passionate about its mission and helping the Jewish community make the connection between food, sustainability, and Jewish values like caring for the Earth and all the creatures (ourselves included) on it. Becky helps create and execute initiatives that support individuals and institutions in transitioning to plant-rich diets and reducing food waste and is co-author of the Green Kiddush Guide and the We Are the Weather: Discussion Guide for Jewish Communities. She is currently leading Hazon's partnership with EarthxTV to create a series of shows on Jewish environmentalism.
