Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron Collaborate On Reducetarian Campaign

Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger and director James Cameron are back at it once again, but this time they're working on a film that's geared towards saving the planet rather than ending it. Backed by WildAid, the "Less Meat, Less Heat" campaign has a much more environmentally-friendly message: go reducetarian!

Realizing the importance of cutting down on their meat consumption, these two superstars have set out to convince the rest of the world, particularly the U.S. and China, the world's biggest meat-eating culprits. With a video, billboards, and online pledges, they hope to educate others on the real effects of excessive meat consumption and act as examples for those who strive to eat less.

Schwarzenegger himself has already said, "I’m slowly getting off meat, and I tell you: I feel fantastic.” He shrugs off the false conception that one needs meat to increase one's muscle mass.

It's truly exciting to see more and more public figures taking up the reducetarian cause. As the message spreads, we can only expect to see the greater impact that we all have together.

Hear more about their work from Schwarzenegger and Cameron themselves in the behind-the-scenes video below.
